This house was built on the outskirts of Horsham on a piece of land saved from clearing through its purchase by the client. This hot dry climate demand high levels of thermal mass, good shading and a real sense of correct orientation. These were provided, and supplementary cooling was provided by a climatically appropriate evaporative cooler.
