This house was built for a retired couple and captured many ESD opportunities. The building fabric is highly massive, very well insulated, and excellent windows. The house has a solar hot water system, a photovoltaic system, rainwater collection and re-use, and a grey water treatment system. This house won the RAIA (Vic Chapter) Sustainable Architecture award in 2001.
